During one of our recent Baptism events, we witnessed this in a household. Beng and Cheryll Gaviño and their daughter, Elle ministered to their househelps and it resulted to the three of them, Tenten, Denden and Pane following the Lord in the waters of baptism. Beng, as the head of the household, had the privilege to do their actual baptism.
2022 may be the right time for a fresh start in ministry involvement. But, it cannot be just going online, listening and talking; men like to go out and do things, bring back experiences from community work or mission adventures. They like to be physically engaged in reaching out to people, helping build lives.
The Homemakers, our life group, decided to sign up when CCBC’s Life Essentials offered the Walk Through the Bible’s Chiseled. We anticipated an exciting journey in discovering how Simon Peter was transformed to become a strong leader and we were not disappointed
I enrolled in Leadership Essentials: Disciplemaking Course. We studied the model of Christ for multiplication as He identified, challenged and equipped His disciples. We also learned practical tips and were equipped on how to facilitate small groups.
Lord inspired me to make a video, sharing the Gospel and sent it to my loved ones and friends. Some answered back just to say thank you. But there’s one friend, a classmate from high school whom I haven’t seen since, except recently on Facebook, who responded saying, “Thank you for sharing Jesus with me to be my Savior and Lord.”
